Hailing from 'foodie' families, Craig and Anny Egan along with their daughter Summer and sons Harvey, Milton (and another on the way) love good food. The signature feature of Egan family gatherings include a table full of stuffed olives, sun-dried tomatoes, marinated seafood, cured meats, breads & bruschettas.
They know that for great food you need great ingredients. The Egans are continuing the Blue Bird tradition of sourcing the finest and freshest vegetables from local Australian growers and markets, along with the best olives from the Mediterranean. Blue Bird antipasto, made fresh daily, select and use only the highest quality produce. Our eggplants, pumpkin, zucchini and more are freshly grilled in house, seasoned with the Blue Bird Spice Mix and marinated in canola oil. Our products are ready to eat with the perfect taste and texture and can be further used in cooked meals.
Established in 1999, Blue Bird opened their doors as a family business. To this day Blue Bird remains a family business, run by a passionate food loving family. Craig and Anny feel very fortunate to have inherited a new and simpatico family at Blue Bird Antipasto. Hygiene & Service standards are of the highest order, regularly reviewed and updated in keeping with any new policies, methods or ideas. Our facilities are independently audited and are HACCP and Halal certified.
